to my personal homepage. I hope I can provide you with the information you're looking for. If there's anything missing or wrong in these pages, please let me know. I've just made the transition from HTML 3.2 to XHTML 1.0, so please bear with me. In particular, I didn't get to define any style sheets yet, but since I'm more interested in providing contents rather than a specific look and feel, it might take me a while to come up with something both nice and useful.
And now for something completely different...
Find out a bit more about me. Don't expect too much, however.
This section is for friends of mine, only. Authorization is required.
I'm an electrical engineer, holding a PhD from the Christian-Albrechts University in Kiel, Germany. My PhD thesis is titled Hybrid Field Analysis of the Canonical GTEM-Cell - An Object-Oriented Approach.
Currently, I am working at the Center for Visualization and Virtual Environments of the University of Kentucky, located in Lexington, Kentucky, USA. Here, I work with Dr. Donohue on advanced signal processing algorithms and computational models for microphone arrays.
I'm an active member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. Find out more about my interests and activities within that organization.
I use the GNU Privacy Guard (GnuPG) to both protect my personal and to sign my official email communication. I'd like to invite you to learn a little bit more about this and to encourage you to use my public key when writing me an email.
Note that I have switched from PGP to GnuPG. While my old (PGP 2.6.3.i) key remains valid, I encourage everyone to use my new GnuPG key for better interoperability with new PGP and GnuPG versions.
